The image is placed on the white board, you can use the same photo or another one, A4 or A3 format.

Ask students to mention words related to “Family” (written above). Same technique as the digital app. Arrows or making a list is also another technique.

Instructions:

  • Tell students that the game is for practicing the new topic.
  • Hand out or mention the QR code can be scanned.
  • Ask students to play in pairs, individually or in groups. (Some students may not have Internet connection, they can play with a classmate).
  • Explain them that they have to choose the correct answer. (one of the four options is the right one).
  • After the game is played, congratulate students on participating.

No Internet connection:

  • Get flashcards of the images used for the game, most of them are found on the Internet. (A4 – A3 size, white background).
  • Stick them on the board and write the sentences that are provided for the game.
  • Optional: you can label the sentences to save time.
  • Ask students to guess the answer, after some second, write or reveal the correct option.
  • After the game is played, congratulate students on participating.
